Watford vs Leicester player ratings

James Maddison

Leicester took on Watford away in the Premier League. Leicester City enjoyed a thumping win as they nailed Watford 5 to one. Jamie Vardy and Harvey Barnes scored a brace while Maddison put one past the back of the net. Joao Pedro scored the only goal for Watford.

Defense

Danny Ward – Came into the side for Kasper Schmeichel and did pretty well. Solid game.

Timothy Castagne – Was great in attack and conducted himself well. Moreover, did well defensively.

Wesley Fofana – Aggressive in the box and was amazing defensively.

Jonny Evans – Had a good run of games however could not replicate it here. Not necessarily at his worst but was caught out at times.

James Justin – Was poor in attack as he couldn’t match the intensity from the opposite flank.

Midfield

Nampalys Mendy – Very poor as he couldn’t hold the ball. Rightfully subbed at the break.

Youri Tielemans – Continues his brilliant performance and increases his market value. Great display and a very selfless performance.

Player Rating: 7/10

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hal – Was not at his usual best however did pretty well in the Leicester attack considering.

Attack

James Maddison – Another brilliant performance as he put one back past the keeper. Looked menacing in the Leicester attack and continues his great run.

Jamie Vardy – Scored his second brace in a week and shows why he is a legend of the club.

Harvey Barnes – Didn’t have the best of the first half however made it up with a better second with a brace.

Marc Albrighton – Created an assist as soon as he was subbed in. Good game.

Daniel Amartey – Pretty much nothing to do.
