The 2021-22 season is almost at its business end. The Summer transfer window is drawing nigh. Every club are trying to put their best efforts to fetch new players, Coaches for the club who could turn out to be a gem of the club in near future.

Aston Villa, one of the old clubs in England is not exceptional. Rather they are looking much more ambitious this year. They have already appointed Steven Gerrard, the Liverpool legend as their head coach.

Now they are looking for some big signings. Already they are linked with Kalidou Koulibaly, one of the best defenders currently playing in Europe. Also they have Philipe Coutinho.

Amid these circumstances, one of the veteran players of Villa Park, Bertrand Traore wants to leave the club this summer. Last year Villa’s performance was moderate and they finished at 11th position after trying hard. Traore emerged as one of the key players of the-then Dean Smith’s Aston Villa.

Traore has made 60 appearances so far for the Villas. He directly contributed to an impressive 14 goals in 36 appearances, chipping in with seven goals and seven assists.

But nowadays, after Gerrard’s arrival, he has become nothing more than a bit-part player this season. He has been restricted to just one Premier League Starfall season. Being handed just eight appearances across all competitions or a total time of just 235 minutes of first-team action, his only outing in the previous three months came as a late substitute in the recent defeat to Arsenal.

As a result, Steven Gerrard is willing to let the ex-Chelsea man leaves along with eight of his teammates this summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

According to Midlands journalist Josh Holland, “Bertrand Traore, he’s not been given much of a chance under Steven Gerrard, so maybe it’s his time to leave Villa Park.”

Meanwhile Gerrard and their ambitious owners working together ahead of the summer transfer window, they’ll be hoping to bring better quality players than Traore as they look to mount a challenge for Europe next season.
