An unnamed Premier League player has been arrested on two more accounts of rape alleged by a woman on Monday.
Police have confirmed that the English top-flight player has two more accounts added to his name of rape. It is said that the player is in his late 20s and has in fact committed such a heinous crime.
Moreover, the player was taken into custody after being arrested at an address in Barnet, London. Released on bail to a date in August, the player’s name will not be revealed for legal reasons.

Statements from the force have emerged regarding the crime committed by the player in his late 20s. The statement says-
“On July 4, an allegation of rape of a woman in her 20s was reported to the police.
“It was reported the alleged rape happened in June 2022. On July 4, a 29-year-old man was arrested at an address in Barnet on suspicion of rape and taken into custody where he remains.”
“He has subsequently been released on bail to a date in August. Inquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
As reported by the Sun, it is claimed that six cars from the force had arrived at his place while the player was asleep. The pictures of a woman ‘bruised’ have been brought to the notice of the police by the woman.
Moreover, the woman has accused him of raping her in between a holiday outing in the Mediterranean. The player has been quizzed for a long number of hours and the case is set to continue.
The player’s club is still yet to disclose any information regarding the international star and if he will participate in the pre-season.
However, it is expected that the club will take strict action and exclude him from the pre-season squad.
