Two transfer bids rejected from Chelsea

About Football Express UK

The young Frenchman has caught the eye of many experts during his time as a defender of the foxes. It seems eminent he has a big future ahead of him in the game. Whether Chelsea can get a deal for Wesley Fofana this summer will be interesting to see. However, Leicester City rejected two offers worth €75million and €82m for the young defender, according to Le Parisien.

The Blues will hope for a breakthrough to be made soon. Thomas Tuchel is surely still in need of more players in the backline back. Stamford Bridge lost Andreas Christensen to Barcelona and Antonio Rudiger to Real Madrid this summer. They moved ahead and signed Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli earlier this window, but it probably will not be enough. Wesley Fofana would be another much-needed addition. Chelsea also have previously looked for other options in that area of the pitch.

The Guardian linked Jules Kounde with the West Londoners before he ended up moving from Sevilla to Barcelona. The Evening Standard also recently linked them with Presnel Kimpembe from Paris Saint-Germain. Another option explored previously was Nathan Ake, linked with Chelsea by 90min, but that deal go through either. So in the given situation, the Blues should look to do whatever it takes to get Fofana.
