Transfers: Manchester United to go all out Darwin Nunez

About Football Express UK

Manchester United are to go all out for Darwin Nunez in the Summer. United are in the market for a second striker as Edinson Cavani leaves Old Trafford. Several clubs have shown interest in the striker however it is the Red Devils who are favourites.

Manchester City added fuel to their already raging fire by adding Erling Haaland to the squad. Erling Haaland is one of the if not the best young players on the planet. He has extraordinary stats for a player his age. It is frightening to think he can develop more as a player with age. Moreover, The experience he will receive as time passes will only make him a better player.

Since Manchester City signed Haaland, The Glazers would be looking to up their PR. They will be going all out for Nunez. The Glazers have a terrible way of doing business which has hurt United over the years. They created several issues within the squad by bringing in players that do not fit the manager’s vision. However, This time around things could change as the new manager Erik Ten Hag wants a striker in the club and Nunez seems to be a priority for him. Moreover, The Glazers would allow Ten Hag to go in the transfer market with a big budget as he wants to rebuild the squad.

Ten Hag’s rebuild and Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo is arguably the greatest player of all time along with Lionel Messi. However, Both these players are in the twilight of their careers. Although, They still show week in and week out they have a lot more to offer. Ronaldo is 37 at the moment and he will be 38 next season however he hasn’t dropped his quality here. Ten Hag would be a footnote to keep Ronaldo at the club as he is the club’s standout player in a difficult season. However, Ronaldo wouldn’t be able to play every week as he used to and should get used to that fact. He will be a great asset regardless of how the transfer window pans out for United.
