About Football Express UK

Fulham has set its sights on FC Porto star Marko Grujic. The newly-promoted side looks to expand their squad as they try to survive in the upcoming season. Marco Silva has identified Grujic as the player who could help Fulham stay in the league.

Grujic had earlier played in the Premier League in his time at Liverpool. He was once a future prospect for Liverpool however he was unable to make an impact at Anfield. This was mostly due to the limited game time Liverpool gave him. Grujic was only able to make 16 appearances for the side since arriving from Red Star Belgrade for 7M. Moreover, he went to Cardiff City, Hertha BSC, and FC Porto in a series of loan spells. He went to Porto for two loan spells and a move was made permanent later.

Grujic has made 75 appearances for Porto so far. Although he is not a regular starter for Porto, He always manages to create an impact in the game. He is strong, aggressive, and has a great work ethic, Something which lacking in today’s game. Moreover, Grujic could make a return to the Premier League and prove his worth to those who doubted him.

What Fulham should aim

Fulham has achieved promotion alongside Nottingham Forest and AFC Bournemouth. Newly promoted teams usually end up in the relegation zone or above it. Most of the time, These times end up going back to the Championship. However, Fulham has a great squad and has the depth to have a good season in the League. Fulham should aim to stay in the League and have a mid-table finish. Anything above is automatically a bonus. Although it is very unlikely Fulham will have a top-table finish, everything is unpredictable in football.
