Chelsea have set their eyes on RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku. Nkunku have been in sublime touch as he ended the season with 35 goals and 19 assists in 50 games in all competitions.
This stat is even more ridiculous considering Nkunku plays as a center forward. Nkunku usually plays along with the midfield however was entrusted the role of a center forward. He has managed to transition into the position very effectively.
Nkunku has been brilliant and his form was visible to the whole world in the Champions League. Even though Leipzig was out at the early stages, Nkunku scored 7 goals in the group stage. Nkunku scored these goals in a group that had the likes of Manchester City and PSG. Moreover, he scored a hattrick against Manchester City, Premier League Champions.
Chelsea have witnessed Nkunku’s talent and have decided on Nkunku. However, Chelsea faces competition from Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
Where to go?
Chelsea is a good destination as they are led by Thomas Tuchel who has a plan in his mind. However, he lacks a proper striker in the team as both Lukaku and Werner have been unable to supply them with goals. However, Nkunku can bring in goals left, right, and center bringing a solution to their issues.
Manchester United have struggled in front of the goal except for a certain, Cristiano Ronaldo. Moreover, they are out of center forwards in the Summer as Greenwood remains out and Cavani leaving. They need a player to support Ronaldo in the front and take over from him once he’s gone.
Bayern Munich will miss the services of Robert Lewandowski in the next season as he departs from the club. Bayern are in search of a forward that can bring in goals as consistently as Lewandowski. They have found their answer with Nkunku.
