Transfers: Cenk Tosun to have angered former club after shocking demands and Everton stay up

Cenk Tosun

Everton striker Cenk Tosun has flirted with his former club for a while. Besiktas had shown interest in Tosun ever since the beginning of January. However, a formal offer hasn’t been offered yet.

According to reports, Tosun has angered his former club and their president by asking for shocking demands. The striker has asked for 3m a year in wages as he returns to the former club. He believes he deserves it as he arrives at the club for free. However, his demands have angered Besiktas president Ahmet Nur Çebi.

Cebi had told Tosen’s agent

“I have given a promise to him, but those numbers don’t exist anymore. If he accepts 1.5 million euros, let him come. If not, I wish him success in his football life.

Tosun is a decent striker and has done enough in his career so far. However, asking 3m in wages to a club with little funding is asking too much.
