Transfers: Arsenal plan to go all out for Bayern winger as Raheem Sterling decides against staying in the League

Arsenal are planning to go all out for Bayern Winger Serge Gnabry as Raheem Sterling declines to play in the League. Sterling has decided against playing in the Premier League once his contract is up at City. Much to the frustration for Arsenal, Sterling is looking for a move away possibly to Spain or Italy.

Arsenal are deciding on resigning Serge Gnabry. Gnabry used to play for Arsenal however he had to leave the Gunners as his contract demands could not be met.

Gnabry has been vital for Bayern Munich throughout the years. His best season came in the 2020/21 season when Bayern won the Champions League. He was dominant and a crucial member of the team under Hansi Flick.

Gnabry’s contract ends next Summer as Bayern have failed to meet his demands. Arsenal will likely try to sign Gnabry next Summer rather this Summer. Moreover, Bayern will be disappointed if Gnabry leaves on a free as he is a player that can fetch a great price in the market.

Arteta’s a fan

Arteta had spoken about Gnabry during their time together at Arsenal years back.

“I think he’s got a lot of quality, He’s got something not many players have in this team, which is pace and skill to go and beat people. That’s why the manager played him – three upfront is something that helps us be more incisive.”

Arteta will be looking to win their last two games and get into the Champions League. Arsenal have been out of the competition in the recent years however would be hoping to get back in the upcoming season. At the moment, however, Arsenal are 5th while Tottenham are at 4th after win against the same. However, Arsenal do have a game in hand as both teams are just separated on goal difference.
