Transfers: Arsenal interested in Roma striker

Tammy Abraham

Arsenal are in the market for a striker in the Summer. They have had a lack of clinical finishing in the season and are hoping to end at least a couple of their issues.

Arsenal have had difficult times finishing as they have thrown away chances. This was mostly because of the lack of a proper finisher who could put away chances. With Aubameyang being sold to Barcelona in January, Arsenal got rid of his heavy wages. His move meant several things for Arsenal as they did not have a reliable finisher.

Moreover, Lacazette’s inconsistency in the front did not help Arsenal’s cause. Lacazette is out of contract in the summer and Arteta will be happy to let him leave.

Eddie Nketiah has reinvented himself and has found his groove in the second half of the season. However, he too is out of contract in the Summer. Arteta would be hoping to keep him in the squad and extend his contract. However, at the moment there has been no news of contract renewal.

Arsenal interested in Tammy Abraham

Arsenal have shown interest in Roma striker Tammy Abraham. Ever since Abraham left Chelsea, he has been in great touch for Roma. He has found the back of the net 17 times and has assisted 4 more times in 37 appearances for Roma this season.

Abraham has been an integral part of Jose Mourinho‘s squad and is part of the reason why they are in the Conference League final.

Valued at 40m, Roma wants at least 67m if they are to let Abraham go in the Summer. Abraham would be open to a move back to the Premier League. Moreover, he is an Arsenal fan since his childhood and he hopes to return and prove his former club wrong.
