Tottenham Hotspurs thinking of signing Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic

About Football Express UK

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic in the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old striker is on the list of the top European clubs. He has scored 21 goals in 40 appearances for the Serie A club, Fiorentina last season.

Tottenham Hotspurs are in no mood to extend Harry Kane’s deal and the striker too does not want to remain at the club anymore. In this case, Spurs can be one of the favourites for the signing of the Serbian international this summer.

According to The Telegraph, the North London outfit of Premier League may be willing to test Fiorentina’s resolve with an offer in the region of £40 million.

While on the other hand, the Italian club is demanding £50 million for the striker. Both clubs eventually had to compromise for the deal for the centre forward Vlahovic’s. The two-year contract is still left for him with Fiorentina.

Will Dasun Vlahovic be able to settle up in the Tottenham squad?

Tottenham have identified Crotone forward Simy as an alternative for Vlahovic.

Spurs have to sign any striker now, as Harry Kane is willing to leave the club. They are thinking of selling their superstar striker for not less than £160 million. If they are able to get the desired deal for Kane, then they can sign a deal with Dusan Vlahovic with negotiations with the Italian club according to their comfort.

Tottenham reportedly are also in discussions with the signing of Atlanta’s Cristian Romero and with Bologna for Japanese defender Takehiro Tomiyasu. Spurs have already signed Bryan Gil from Sevilla, and on the other side, Lamela is leaving the club.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side is in search of a striker who can play alongside Harry Kane next season. Instead of replacing the superstar centre forward, he can help him.

Tottenham Hotspurs will be playing their season opener against Manchester City on August 14, 2021, at the North London’s home ground, Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium
