Ruckus in Man United training as two players had to be pulled apart

Manchester United

It seems as if nothing is going Manchester United’s way this season. The Red Devils have failed to qualify for the Champions League this season as they will probably compete in the Europa League next season. Moreover, Manchester United are staring at a summer exodus with many players staring at an exit. Erik ten Hag will be the new man in charge next season who has a Herculean task at his hands. But recent news coming out of Carrington has just added to United’s miseries. According to The Sun, a heated altercation ensued between two senior Man United players.

The Sun further claims that the bust-up has shocked Manchester United players. United held their first training session since Brighton’s 4-0 drubbing. However, instead of recovery, the problems have just increased for interim manager Ralf Rangnick. United are hoping to end their woeful season on a good note in their last game against Crystal Palace. But looking at the current scenario, the players’ morale is only going to get low.

Man United players have a go at each other in training

United have seen their season go from bad to worse. Moreover, after signing stars like Ronaldo, Varane, and Sancho last summer, everyone expected United to be title challengers. However, it is evident United won’t be even getting the Champions League next season. Furthermore, it could get even more embarrassing if West Ham pip them in the sixth place. United will then have to fancy their chances in the Conference League.

Amidst such a disappointing environment, the bust-up has just come at the wrong time. Sportsman have further revealed that the matter ‘boiled over’ as a result of all the factors which have hampered United’s season. The outlet claims Man United players are quite frustrated over their loss in the last game, the overall season, and more so due to their differences with Rangnick.

Sportsmail have also said that the nature of the bust-up was ‘overblown’ as the players had to be separated by other squad members. Ralf Rangnick will have to sort out the problems between his Man United players if they are to produce against Palace. United have let in 12 goals in their last five games costing them eleven points. In such a situation, everything seems to be falling apart for United with this bust-up.

Tensions arose when club legend Paul Scholes made some shocking claims a few months ago. Scholes said that Jesse Lingard had told him the United dressing room was a ‘disaster’. Problems seem to be available in wholesale at Old Trafford. As a result, Ten Hag now has another mess to sort out at United.
