Roberto Martinez has insisted that Everton have an “incredible” future ahead of them shortly.

Meanwhile, the ex-Everton manager, admitted that things have not been too good enough this season for the Toffees. However, the Belgian coach admitted that the new stadium, along with Lampard’s control, will change things for Everton.

Meanwhile, Roberto Martinez was considered as an option to replace Rafa Benitez as the Everton manager. However, Lampard was selected to replace Rafa Benitez as the manager.

Roberto Martinez on Everton future

Roberto Martinez shared his thoughts on everything happening at Goodison Park while speaking to Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live:

“I think Everton has got an incredible future.

The news of the new stadium in two years, which is nothing in football, could give a real new start.

Everton is a big club in terms of expectations, the fans, they know what it means to win the league, win titles, it’s a long time ago but it is still in the DNA and the nature of the club.

To have 22 points out of 22 games in the Premier League, this is a very difficult situation, but you look at the squad of players and the way Frank Lampard has come in, it’s given a new lease of life to some of the players.”

As things stand, big things are on the horizon for the Toffees. However, there is only one objective that is to get good results, that needs to be sorted.

Everton simply needs to stay in the Premier League during this campaign. This is the only goal that the management and the fans want.

Martinez was in the race, but some were not happy to see him potentially returning to Everton. Meanwhile, he was sacked six years ago by Farhad Moshiri.

However, his role in Belgium is also at risk due to a lack of results in the recent competitions. He appears to be happy to speak out and wishes nothing but the best for the Toffees.

As it stands, things should be bigger and better with Lampard at the helm.
