Report: Chelsea to include Michy Batshuayi in Anthony Gordon deal

Everton

Chelsea are open to including Michy Batshuayi to Everton as part of the deal for Anthony Gordon in the transfer window.

The Blues placed their first bid only to be rejected by the Toffees for Anthony Gordon during the weekend. Now, Thomas Tuchel is considering adding the likes of Batshuayi as a part of the deal to secure the move.

It is understood that Chelsea placed a bid in the region of £40million but Frank Lampard and his management weren’t too convinced. The Blues could improve their bid later this week to land Gordon at Stamford Bridge this summer.

Chelsea to make a new improved offer

Chelsea hope to let go off Batshuayi on permanent move but understand that a loan move could be an option. Moreover, journalist Sacha Tavolieri confirmed the Blues’ interest in adding Batshuayi as a part of the deal.

He said-

Michy #Batshuayi could be involved in the transaction!

#CFC wants to part with him and #DiablesRouges preferred a permanent departure rather than a new loan. Frank Lampard has already validated the profile.

Lampard too is exploring the possibility of landing the Chelsea man to Goodison Park this summer in the window. Batshuayi has not been able to cement his place at Chelsea and could look for an exit from the Bridge.

Moreover, Lampard has worked with the Belgian international at Chelsea and this could make the exit easier. The journalist further said-

The #Toffees are interested in Michy #Batshuayi.

Frank #Lampard validated the profile.

#ChelseaFC wants a permanent transfer of #DiablesRouges .

On the player side, we like the idea of a one-year extension and a loan in stride at #EvertonFC .

To be continued. #EFC

The deal could go through as both the parties seem interested in this offer and the move may happen this week.
