Real Madrid linked with Arsenal ace striker Gabriel Jesus

Spanish giants and European champions Real Madrid are linked with making a surprise move for Brazillian striker Gabriel Jesus. Jesus moved to Arsenal only last summer from Manchester City, but reports say he is on the list of targets of Madrid president Florentino Perez.

The persistent injury problems for French striker Karim Benzema have caused the Madrid board to search for a possible replacement.

Jesus was on Madrid’s radar in the summer as well. However, he took a move to North London and firmly established himself as the Gunners’ main Centre Forward.

What is the possibility of Gabriel Jesus moving to Madrid?

It is unlikely that Jesus will leave the Gunners anytime soon. In his short time at the Emirates, he has established himself as an undroppable member of their starting XI. While his goalscoring form has dropped in recent weeks, his synergy with the likes of Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Odegaard, and Bukayo Saka is also incredible, as is his work rate and pressing ability.

Arsenal is unlikely to sell Jesus anytime soon, even with a price above the £45 million they paid for him. It would take an extraordinary offer for Mikel Arteta to even think of departing with their main forward.
