Pochettino hints return of James on saturday’s match


Chelsea are going to play an away game against Nottingham Forest on saturday. At the conference ahead of match, Chelsea manager gave some good news to the fans. Mauricio Pochettino has given hopes that Reece James could play against Nottingham.

Chelsea have not been good throughout the season. The injuries were also a big concern and the reason pulling the blues backwards. The result of this situation is that Chelsea can no longer qualify for next season’s Champions league. However the blues are currently playing very good and looking forward to grab european spots. They are good contenders for either Europa league or Conference league. It all depends on the remaining 3 fixtures. Ahead of away clash against Nottingham the blues have received a good news.

What did Pochettino said about James

Reece James has suffered serious and continuous injuries keeping him sidelined for majority of season. The English full back has only played 8 Premier League matches this season. He has not played a single game yet in 2024.

Mauricio Pochettino while talking to press, said James could be available on saturday. This will surely cheer up the fans to watch their academy graduate finally back on the pitch. Pochettino also said that he is happy that almost all the squad is available and is optimistic about the future.

Reece James is a Chelsea academy talent and has been their since his younger days. After his debut for the blues, he has been their important player and regular starter. However his career has been injury prone costing him to miss many matches. According to The Chelsea Chronicle, the English full back will need to fight for his position back from Malo Gusto. Gusto has been the regular starter for Chelsea ever since James’s absence. The French full back was able to fill the void and deliver good performances for the blues. Despite now having a competitor, the good news is James can be finally back on pitch.
