Bertrand Traore

Manchester United will go head-to-head against bottom side Norwich City in the Premier League at the Carrow Road on Saturday evening.

The Red Devils boss Ralf Rangnick rested first-team players in their midweek Champions League clash against Young Boys. Therefore, they have now got a full one week of training under the new interim manager.

After the victory against Crystal Palace on Sunday, Manchester United is currently sitting sixth in the table with 24 points in 15 games. Only three points behind the fourth-placed West Ham United and one point behind Tottenham Hotspur who have one game in hand.

On the other hand, Norwich is currently at rock bottom with 10 points in 15 games. The Canaries had a decent start under the new manager Dean Smith but the defeat against Tottenham in the last game could be demoralizing for them.

Norwich City vs Manchester United: Preview

Norwich has lost eight of their last 10 games against Manchester United, including the defeats in the last three encounters. The Canaries have lost three games in a row four times against the Red Devils but they have never lost four games in succession against the Old Trafford outfit.

Manchester United hasn’t been able to beat the newly promoted sides in the last four games, including the defeat against Watford in the last game of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. They never failed to win five games in a row against the newly-promoted side in Premier League history.

Ralf Rangnick’s side displayed a productive performance against the Eagles last time around at home, but only managed to win by one goal. So, the German boss will be hoping that his side will be able to create more chances for the attackers in this game and they will be able to convert those.
