Newcastle United: Carrasco, Dybala to join in Summer? Mourinho, to lead them?

Paulo Dybala

Newcastle United mean business this summer as they plan to add a number of bug additions to the team. Newcastle United are under new owners who have big plans for them. They intend to transform the club into a top club by getting some big names.

Newcastle have had a difficult time at the League under Steve Bruce. However, weeks after the takeover he was shown the exit door, and Eddie Howe was made manager. Howe has managed to steady the ship and help Newcastle to a mid-table finish. Moreover, Newcastle has played better football under Howe.

However, Newcastle wants bigger things as they look to appoint Jose Mourinho. Mourinho is one of the absolute greatest managers of all time. He has managed to win with relatively smaller teams and his UCL victory with Porto is a great example. Newcastle wishes to go for Jose Mourinho in hopes of him rebuilding the squad and creating a new Manchester City. Mourinho will receive more than enough backing from the owners’ something which he did not receive at his last two clubs. Moreover, Newcastle have funding for Mourinho to get anyone he wants. This seems like an offer he can’t refuse.

The “Robinho” Situation

Newcastle wants to add big names to their squad in the Summer however they won’t be able to do that as not many big players want to play for them. At the moment they are a mid-table club, they won’t heed their offer until they get to play Champions League football in the least. They can’t do that without a big player, Match winners in their team.

Newcastle needs a “Robinho” in their squad. Manchester City got hold of Robinho which changed their fortunes entirely. Newcastle have shown interest in Dybala and Carrasco. Both wingers with great dribbling ability. Either one of these players could change the tide for the Magpies even though Dybala is certainly the more popular player. The duo arriving at St James Park could change everything for them as they could attract big players to their squad.
