Nayef Aguerd has been released from the Moroccan national team and is flying in for his medical with West Ham. He has left the Moroccan camp to complete his move to West Ham United. Nayef has been left out of the game against Liberia on June 13. This game is the qualifier for the African Cup of Nations tournament. However, the claim is that he has been left out of the squad due to an injury.
Nayef heading West Ham’s way
Nayef has a slight ankle injury but it is not serious. However, if he is injured, then it would be difficult for him to join West Ham. However, if the injury is not too serious then he is most likely to give his medical and join West Ham.
Morocco have left Nayef out of the squad simply because they do not want him to be injured as this would break the deal with West Ham down. Thus in order to keep him fit, they have left him out of the game against Liberia. It is also possible that Nayef himself asked for permission to be left out. This is once again because he would not want his deal to break down due to injury. However, this injury may have been picked up in training. However, that also seems like a difficult possibility.
Apparently, he has a small hamstring issue but that should not be able to stop his medical as he is fit to go for it. However, West Ham are positive about the deal. They do not feel that there will be an issue in signing him. There is no objection from Rennes side and they are only waiting for the player to get fit. As of now, West Ham, as well as Nayef, have an agreement in place. Nayef will come to London as soon as possible to complete his medical.
