Mohamed Salah to stay at Liverpool till career ends?

About Football Express UK

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah wants to stay with the club till his career ends. His current contract will end in 2023 with PSG showing interest in him. The Parisians look to sign him if Mbappe leaves.

Fabrizio Romano told on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel FIVE that PSG will try for him again. Usually, this would come as a concern but it won’t in the case of Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian told Sky Sports News that “It does not depend on me. If you ask me, I would love to stay until the last day of my career. But I can’t say much, it’s not in my hands.

It depends on what the club wants, not what depends on me. At the moment, I can’t see myself ever playing against Liverpool, that would make me sad.

It’s hard, I don’t want to talk about it. It would make me sad, at the moment, I don’t see myself against Liverpool but let’s see what happens in the future.”

Prime Eden Hazard vs Prime Mohamed Salah.

In 2018 this was one of the most famous debates. As of now, there should be no comparison. Mohamed Salah is clear of Eden Hazard. In terms of the type of players, Mohamed Salah is a goalscorer whereas Eden Hazard is a creator. This does not imply that they only have one particular role. Eden Hazard often used to play deep for Chelsea and has scored wonderful solo goals week in week out. His solo goal against Liverpool is still thriving to watch. Mohamed Salah himself has scored many goals like these with two coming this season itself.

Eden Hazard’s dribbling has been a beauty to watch. He ranks second to Lionel Messi in terms of most dribbles made by a player. In terms of individual and technical ability, Hazard beats Salah. But as a goalscorer, Mohamed Salah is extremely consistent.

Eden Hazard’s best season at Chelsea was in 2018/19 where he had garnered 15 goals,16 assists. (Source: Transfermarkt). In his years at Chelsea, he has had poor seasons in terms of goals scored.

In 2017/18, Mohamed Salah had garnered 44 goals and 16 assists. He has a G/A of 184 in 214 games for Liverpool. (Source: Transfermarkt). This only shows how consistently Salah has performed for Liverpool and continues to do so.

The start to the current season is his best start ever. He has a G/A of 12 in only 9 games.
