On 16th October Manchester, United lost to Leicester City, Marcus Rashford came in late but provided instant impact.

Despite helping his team to equalise against Leicester City, post-match comments made Marcus Rashford fans unhappy. Marcus Rashford is famous for his community work. He has won various awards, the BBC expert panel special award and many more. According to the Athletic, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has recently stated that “Marcus Rashford should prioritise his football instead.”

Manchester United believe that the comments were misinterpreted. Marcus Rashford does not hold any grudge against his manager as he looks to perform for his club.

Are Marcus Rashford and co a title winning team?

On paper Manchester United have one of the best teams but their performances indicate otherwise. With the signing of Jadon Sancho, the attack of Manchester United seemed formidable. Rashford along with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Sancho are performing for the club. Despite having midfielders like Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba, Manchester United still have a positional problem at CDM.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer refuses to give Donny Van de Beek a chance and keeps on playing Fred. Fred’s work rate is good but he keeps on providing average performances for Manchester United. Not only the midfield but also the defensive issue. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plays Harry Maguire over Victor Lindelof.

The Norwegian claims that the club needs a captain. Harry Maguire has been sloppy and inconsistent for Manchester United, often costing the game for them.

The truth is that despite signing Raphael Varane, Manchester United are still conceding a lot of goals. Consistent and good performances by David De Gea have saved them from humiliation.

Manchester United are in trouble despite having signed Cristiano Ronaldo. Unless their defence gets back to their best.
