Following a disappointing defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Manchester United will welcome Aston Villa in their next game on Monday night in the F.A Cup third-round tie. 

The Red Devils were outclassed by Bruno Lage’s side in the Premier League and managed to beat the Old Trafford outfit away from home for the first time in 40 years. The Portuguese midfielder Joao Moutinho scored the only goal of the game late in the second half.

Paul Pogba is the only name who is on the long-term injury list ahead of this game. Harry Maguire could also be out due to injury issues. The good news is that Victor Lindelof has returned to training after overcoming the Covid-19 obstacles. Eric Bailly has joined the Ivory Coast national team to play in the Africa Cup of Nations. 

Philippe Coutinho has joined Steven Gerrard’s side but he will not be involved in this game. Ashley Young will be out due to injury issues. And Leon Bailey is another player who will not be available for this game.
