Manchester United to raise £100m from departures

About Football Express UK

Manchester United are looking to sell many players and could be possibly earning around £100 million. The arrivals of Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane (soon!) have cost the club a lot of money. Additionally, many current players fail to get much playing time at the club.

As a result, the current players are looking for opportunities elsewhere. Jesse Lingard, Brandon Williams, Diogo Dalot, Phil Jones, Anthony Martial, Alex Telles, Andreas Pereira, Daniel James, Paul Pogba and Axel Tuanzebe are the ones who could depart from the Premier League club as per ESPN.

Surprisingly, the list includes Pogba and Martial, two of the most key players who have played a crucial role in winning titles. As a result, the club could buy Kieran Trippier and Eduardo Camavinga.

Manchester United rebuild work in progress!

Players like Andreas Pereira, Diogo Dalot and Jesse Lingard were impressive in their loan stints at Lazio, AC Milan and West Ham United. However, all three could be making a permanent move to those clubs.

Whereas other players such as Tuanzebe, James and Williams have received very few call-ups to the senior team. Tuanzebe has attracted Newcastle United. Whereas there are no offers for the rest of them. Surprisingly, Alex Telles would also be departing after a disappointing performance last season.

Jose Mourinho-led AS Roma are linked with a move for the Brazillian left-back. The remaining three – Pogba, Phil Jones, Martial and wonderkid Andreas Pereira are the most surprising names on the list. Anthony Martial is rumoured for a probable move to Nuno Espirito Santo led Tottenham Hotspur. Turkish giants Fenerbahce could buy Pereira whereas Jones could join the Hammers.

Whereas, Pogba have a variety of new suitors. Liverpool, Juventus, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain are the big names who are monitoring his situation.
