Arsenal relishes a great time in the transfer market as manager Mikel Arteta got hold of Fabio Vieira and Gabriel Jesus. While United too have gained pace after a slow start in making the signings but have now made vital transfers.
Now, while clubs are fishing in the same pond for players, the Red Devils could lock horns with Arsenal. Arteta is considering the possibility of bringing in a third player in the attacking front line this coming season.
The interest in Dembele is not new as Arsenal were interested in signing the player last year.
Arsenal to join Manchester in bid for Lyon Forward
According to Media Foot, the player is keen to leave the Ligue 1 outfit this summer and join elsewhere. A move to the Premier League has been placed on the table and Dembele is considering joining the English top-flight.
Arsenal have Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus in the middle of the attack but the gaffer could add another one. However, the Gunners are not too pressurized to make this move for the forward this summer as compared with United.
The Red Devils could lose their No.7 this summer as the pole does not seem too interested in the project. In that case, signing Dembele as a backup if Ronaldo leaves could be a wise call.
However, assuming the Manchester boss racks up a decent squad for the next season, Ronaldo could just stay. Moreover, the club is in the right direction making vital signings possible to compete at a top level.
With Ronaldo’s future up in the air, turning to the Lyon forward would be the best option in the market.
