Manchester United still looking to bolster two areas in the squad

About Football Express UK

With weeks still to go before the summer transfer window concludes, Manchester United are on the lookout for two players to bolster the squad.

The Red Devils had a slow start to the transfer window, however, the club eventually paced up and made signings. Manager Erik ten Hag has made decent signings so far that could help the squad in the forthcoming season.

United have already signed the likes of Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, and Christian Eriksen in this transfer window. With a balanced squad slowly shaping up, the manager still believes he has two areas to focus on this summer.

Manchester United to buy atleast two more players

After having signed three players that could prove to be vital, the club will go for atleast two more players.

The gaffer had Frenkie de Jong as his priority signing, however, the player isn’t keen to join United this summer. That said, the manager is still hoping to convince him but understands that there could be slim chances of signing him.

Manchester United No. 7, Cristiano Ronaldo too is not pleased with the new project and looks for an exit. Ten Hag is forced to think about adding a player in the attack as a replacement to the United ace.

Benjamin Sesko is one name on the table that has been repeatedly discussed among the United management. The Red Devils director John Murtough has met with the player’s representatives to discuss a possible move to Old Trafford.

Antony is another name under the radar but no development has happened yet.
