Manchester United board hire Ralf Rangnick as short term solution

About Football Express UK

The Manchester United board recently sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. As of now, Michael Carrick is the interim manager but the board does not consider him a long term solution.

The club shortlisted three to four managers but all of them refused the job.

Manchester United did make a good decision and have signed Ralf Rangnick as interim manager for 6 months.

Here is the list of managers who as of now are not coming to Manchester United.

Zinedine Zidane

Zidane was also linked to United numerous times but it will not happen. Rumours state that Zinedine’s wife does not want him to go to Manchester. The reason is that his wife does not like the area at all. Another understandable reason is that possibly Zidane is waiting out for the job at PSG or the France job.

Mauricio Pochettino

The PSG manager is in a long term plan for United. As of now, they will keep him but rumours state that they are already trying for Zidane as well. Zidane might go to PSG and Poch to Manchester United.

Roberto Mancini

Manchester United considered Mancini as their priority after Poch. However, Mancini gave The Red Devils a firm no because he does not want to leave Italy, especially before the 2022 World Cup.
