Manchester United could still go for these free agents this summer

About Football Express UK

Manchester United had a slow start in the transfer window, however, they have now made three vital signings this summer.

The Red Devils have secured the services of Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen, and Tyrell Malacia ahead of the new season. Moreover, with few days still to go before the transfer window concludes, United could make a few more signings possible.

Manager Erik ten Hag appears to be building a team that could very well compete for titles in the forthcoming season. Moreover, United have invested good money on the aforementioned players and could splash some more to snap up Frenkie de Jong.

United could still get three free agents this summer

Manchester Untied are certainly not done yet when it comes to signing of players this summer. The gaffer wants to give a completely different look to his new squad with new players for the forthcoming season.

With some more time left before the window concludes, United could still snap up three players who are free agents!

Dan-Axel Zagadou To United

United was linked with the 23-year-old earlier when the transfer window kicked off in the summer. Reports even suggested that the Red Devils still hold a strong interest and could land him at Old Trafford.

However, United are pretty well stocked in the midfield area which could mean that Zagadou’s transfer may not be possible. Unless, the gaffer decides to secure his services just for the sake of adding more depth in the midfield.

Florian Grillitsch

The 26-year-old has been linked to a number of clubs across the Premier League in the transfer window. United will go for atleast one midfielder before the window concludes and de Jong is on top of the list.

However, Grillitsch has shown great potential and can be a vital member of the squad during his stint with Hoffenheim. That said, ten Hag has his plans outlined clearly and the 26-year-old could join only if de Jong’s transfer fails.

Andrea Belotti

The player has amassed eight goals in 23 appearances with Torino this season. With huge potential, the striker could add a lot of goals under ten Hag at Manchester.

Moreover, Belotti is a free agent, something that could help the gaffer in making a decision to snap him up.

However, it remains to be seen if ten Hag considers them as a part of his project and lands them.
