Manchester United have made a huge bid for Benfica striker Darwin Nunez. The bid is around 105 million euros. 75 million is in cash while 20 million are in add-ons. They have also proposed to send a player on loan worth 10 million. Benfica is still analyzing the deal and there is no guarantee that they will accept it. Moreover, Benfica expects to receive more for the player. Benfica hopes to receive a bid worth 130 million euros or 111 million pounds for Darwin Nunez. He is a big player in the transfer window and many clubs are trying to sign him.
The 22-year-old striker has scored 32 goals and 4 assists in 38 games and is the top scorer in Portugal. Darwin Nunez scored six times in Champions League and scored goals against the big teams such as Barcelona, Ajax, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool. Manchester City have already signed Haaland and Liverpool have already signed Luis Diaz.

He is rumored to be the target of Jurgen Klopp‘s Liverpool and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United. It is a race to secure a very impressive forward. Manchester United need to make massive changes to their team and they have brought the right man in. Erik ten Hag is going to be important to this reset and will need the full backing of the Manchester United board in terms of bringing in the right players. Manchester United already have Ronaldo but his age is going to cause issues to start in the line-up thus they need to buy Darwin Nunez. Reports are that Anthony Martial or Andreas Pereira will be part of the deal. Benfica are happy to bring Martial aboard but the player might not be open to the move.
It is open to question whether Darwin Nunez is going to come to United or whether he will go anywhere else, but most likely he will make his move.
