Manchester United have reportedly planned to use Anthony Martial in any proposal to sign Borussia Dortmund’s star centre forward Braut Erling Haaland this summer.
Chelsea are said to be the top favourites to sign the Norwegian. His cost will be excessing more than £150m if he leaves the Westfalenstadion this summer.
Although Borussia Dortmund are against the idea of part-exchange deals, they can ask the base price to rule out the rest of the competition for his signature.
Nevertheless, according to reports in Spain, Man United are trying to attract Dortmund towards Anthony Martial as his contract is about to finish with Old Trafford.
The French international centre forward has played 30 matches for the red devils in all competitions. Out of the 30 appearances, he has made 22 appearances in the Premier League.
Manchester United’s boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ready to consider the offers for the 25-year-old. He has a contract with the club till 2024.

Anthony Martial is an attacking striker and can play at left-wing too. He has some strengths and weaknesses in his game. He is a very intelligent player. The French player keeps the ball very close to him which makes it difficult for the opponent to tackle and a nuisance in the penalty box. Martial has the ability to finish and dribbling qualities as well. He has also link-ups and plays combinations in his game recently. French attacker helps his teammates in defending also.
Anthony Martial has some weaknesses too. He is not able to position himself properly on the field. He also has to improve on his off-the-ball movements while creating attacks.
Erling Haaland is an attacking striker. He has some strengths and weaknesses in his game. The strengths of the striker are that he is very good at taking headers and is also excellent in close range finishing in one on one situations, he is a complete package and he is someone with whom you can put crosses day in and day out and he will deliver eventually. The weakness in his game is that he is not quite a dribbler or a good passer of the ball.
