Manchester City plays Tottenham Hotspur this Saturday on February 19. The match kicks off at 5:30 pm at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City sits comfortably in 1st position, 9 points ahead of 2nd placed Liverpool but have also played a game more. The Citizens will want to continue their rich vein of form and remain clear of Liverpool. Tottenham on the other hand are struggling and have tasted defeats in their last 3 matches. The Lilywhites need a win to keep their top 4 hopes alive after falling behind in the race.

The city comes to this game after dismantling Sporting CP at their home with a scoreline of 5-0. Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez wreaked havoc as the Citizens already look set to progress. The Manchester club hasn’t lost any of their last six games and wants to continue in the same form.

MANCHESTER CITY TEAM NEWS

Man City are expected to welcome Kyle Walker back into their starting XI for this match, with the England international missing out against Sporting in the Champions League through suspension.

The Citizens could also have Jack Grealish and Gabriel Jesus in the squad following recent injury problems, but neither player is expected to start, with Mahrez, Foden and Sterling set to feature as the front three.

Walker for John Stones might be the only change from the side that started during the week, although Ilkay Gundogan is pushing to be involved in midfield.

OUR PREDICTION

Manchester City 2 – 0 Tottenham

Antonio Conte’s side is struggling with wins of late. Along with that, the fixture list hasn’t been kinder to them. Any team that face Man City are expected to not come out with the win. Pep Guardiola’s side is coming off a 5-0 thrashing of Sporting CP and will want to continue their impressive spell. We are predicting a comfortable 2-0 win for the Citizens with occasional threats from Tottenham.
