Gabriel Jesus

Manchester City rejects a bid from Arsenal regarding Gabriel Jesus. 42.5 million pounds is the bid amount. Furthermore, the 25-year-old striker is linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium, and Arsenal is heavily linked with him. He is going to replace Alexandre Lacazette at Arsenal. Reports say that Machester City are willing to accept anything above 43 million for him.

Jesus from Manchester City to Arsenal

Jesus is entering the final year of his contract at Manchester City. Furthermore, they are not accepting anything less than 51 million for him. There are many clubs interested in him. Real Madrid, Chelsea, Tottenham, and Arsenal are these clubs. However, Arsenal are leading the race to sign him. The arrival of Haaland and Alvarez is the reason Jesus is leaving.

Moreover, Jesus has been crucial to City since he came. He has scored 95 goals and provided 46 assists in 236 appearances. He has spent six years at the club. Also, Jesus admits his future is uncertain but he has told the club where he wants to go. At Arsenal, he could replace Lacazette and Nketiah.

Tottenham Hotspur are providing competition for this deal as well. Jesus scored 13 goals and created 12 assists this season in 41 games. He has publically said what his future is.

He said

“About my future, its still uncertain. I have a contract with City and I have already expressed my desire to the City people and to my agent.”

“I already have in my head a very clear idea of what I want.” Today I want to celebrate a lot with City. It’s obvious that I’m very happy here. Tomorrow, if everything goes well for me, my wife, and our family Helena will come into the world.”

“So I have to take advantage of this moment. Then think about the team, smile at the team again. And, on vacation, I will decide about my future.”

Jesus started 21 Premier League matches for City this season. Right now, Jesus is a reliable player who can score goals and has worked with Arteta before. This could be the basis of an excellent partnership at Arsenal. The only thing that remains is that Arsenal pays the money that is demanded by Manchester City.
