Manchester City has immense squad depth. Their main striker Kun Aguero left for FC Barcelona whereas their number 9 is desiring to be a winger.
From the 2020/21 season, Pep Guardiola deployed the false 9 system. This worked incredibly often with Foden as a False 9 but City wants someone like Aguero.
Here are the strikers which Manchester City can sign
Hwang Hee Chan
RB Leipzig loaned Hwang Hee Chan to Wolves. He has already scored 5 goals in 8 matches for them.
But Manchester City will face competition from Liverpool to sign him. According to The Mirror, Liverpool is also interested in him. Hwang Hee-Chan was the first player to humiliate Virgil Van Dijk in 2019 before scoring. He put up an impressive performance in front of Klopp
Wolves also have the option to buy him before his loan term ends to avoid competition.
The Serbian striker made his name in the 2020/21 season. He scored 21 goals in the league but was second behind Cristiano Ronaldo.
Dusan already has 8 goals in 11 games for Fiorentina. He has refused contract renewals because he pleases to go to a top club.
Manchester City can definitely be the best team with a striker like Dusan. Provided if Dusan will settle with the new team and the new league. According to Fabrizio Romano, there are no talks as of now but Fiorentina has disclosed their transfer fee.
Will Manchester City ever get somebody as good as Kun Aguero?
Sergio Kun Aguero is one of the best strikers in the Premier League. His most special moment was the “93:20” goal against QPR to win the league title. From the 2013/14 to 2019/20 season, Kun Aguero has scored 15 plus goals every season in the league.
In his best season, he had scored 26 goals in the Premier League. Even in an injury-interrupted campaign (2019/20), he bagged 16 goals in 24 games.
His record against the top 6 is commendable. With Atletico Madrid in Europe and Manchester City, he has scored 54 goals against the top 6.
Kun Aguero is arguably the best finisher in the Premier League. He has made his name amongst legends like Alan Shearer and Wayne Rooney.
