Man United looking to target 3 signings

Manchester United are showing interest in signing de Jong from Barcelona, Vitinha from Porto, and Malcolm Ebiowei from Derby County. Man United will start their pre-season training this month in preparation for the new season next month. The club traveling to Thailand and Australia as part of the pre-season training for the 2022-23 season. Many players have been slated with transfers to Old Trafford.

This is because new manager ten Hag is attempting to assemble a squad that will be able to return to the Premier League’s top four. Barcelona’s defensive midfielder De Jong is the club’s top target in the current window. There are further two more players currently on the club’s radar, according to English journalist Jonathan Shrager.

Jonathan Shrager states that the Red Devils are also interested in midfielder Vitinha from Porto and Derby County youngster Ebiowei in a three player signing. Manchester United are still in talks with Barcelona about De Jong. Barcelona are willing to sell him this summer in order to alleviate their financial woes. However, the player is said to need convincing to join the 20-time English top flight winners. Manchester United will not compete in the Champions League in the coming season. Meanwhile, Vitinha has been connected with a move to Man United and they are leading the contest for him.

The midfielder’s current contract expires in about two years. In addition, there is a 40 million euro or 34.8 million pounds clause in his contract that will allow him release. This has sparked a flurry of speculation. Manchester United are already talking about personal terms with the player. Also many other European clubs are in for him. Clubs such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Lazio are also said to be interested in the Portugal international. He played in 47 games in all competitions last season, picking up four goals and five assists.
