Three Man City teenagers have been ranked amongst the top 50 most exciting teenagers. The list includes James McAtee, Cole Palmer and Liam Delap.

They are reaping the rewards on the pitch after their heavy influence in their youth teams. The city seems to have formed a proper structure that leads only to success.

The Sky Blues have established a brand of football that has terrorized the Premier League. They play an exciting brand of eye-pleasing, quick passing football, no matter who the opposition is. The Citizens have incorporated the same principles into their youth teams. As a result of which Man City are now able to churn out youth products to replace important members of the senior team.

In recent seasons, Manchester City has won the FA Youth Cup and Premier League 2. Showing just how effective their setup is.

Phil Foden didn’t make the list due to his age but he has also been a standout story of success. He’s someone the trio look up to.

The list, compiled by FourFourTwo, features a plethora of uncut gems including Jude Bellingham, Ryan Gravenberch and Florian Wirtz, to name a few.

GETTING TO KNOW THE MAN CITY TEENAGERS

JAMES MCATEE

McAtee makes the top 40, coming in at 37. He’s been dubbed ‘The Salford Silva’ after legendary City midfielder David Silva. The City teenager recently extended his contract at the club and committed his future here. He has been in and around the first team recently and has been rewarded with opportunities by Pep Guardiola.

COLE PALMER

The forward ranks just three places above his City teammate at 34. The 19-year-old has enjoyed his breakthrough season in the first-team where he has broken his Champions League and FA Cup ducks with impressive goals against Club Brugge and Swindon Town. He has an excellent left foot combined with his trickery on the ball. He’s a nightmare for defenders and is around the first team as well.

LIAM DELAP

The striker makes the top 20, coming in at 18th. Although his development was hampered a bit by injuries, he’s now back to the team again. He has been around the first team since the start of the season and has gained Guardiola’s trust. Delap made a late appearance against Sporting in the Champions League after coming back from injury. The teenager could feature in the less important games and continue his growth.
