Luis Diaz’s arrival at Liverpool may help the likes of Diogo Jota, Sadio Mane, and Mohamed Salah to reach new heights. As pundit Gabby Agbonlahor has claimed, the arrival of Luis Diaz at Liverpool may help the Liverpool trio to flourish in the Reds.
While speaking to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker insisted Diaz is a “great signing”. Moreover, he went on to say that he has a “massively important” role to play at Anfield.
The Colombian made his European debut for his new club in the 2-0 win over Inter Milan at San Siro on 16 February.
He replaced Sadio Mane with half an hour to go with the scores level. As per American outlet CBS Sports on the day of the game, Mane insisted he welcomed the arrival of Diaz as it would make him a better player.
Klopp now has five big forwards in the form of Mane, Diaz, Salah, Jota, and Roberto Firmino to call on. Meanwhile, he looks to overhaul the nine-point gap at the top of the Premier League. The German tactician would compete in the Champions League, EFL Cup, and FA Cup.
