Liverpool wants to renew Salah’s contract before January. The Merseyside have set a deadline until the end of this year to extend the Contract of their charismatic striker, Mohammed Salah. The Egyptian’s current contract with Liverpool is set to expire in 2023. However, the striker has expressed his desire to stay at the club until he Retires.

Various sources have claimed that Mohammed Salah wants to become the Highest Earning player at Liverpool. The Egyptian Maestro and his Agent have demanded a weekly salary of £500,000. The English outfit is extremely keen to keep the player at the Club.

Liverpool’s Owners want to sort the Egyptian’s Contract situation as soon as possible. The Fenway Sports Group want to renew the Egyptian’s contract by next week. The Owners don’t want to take any chances as the January Transfer Window is just two months away.

Should Liverpool keep Mohammed Salah at all cost?

He’s playing some of the best football of his career,15 goals in 12 appearances this season tells its own story. His situation is a fascinating one, mixing elements of age, longevity, opportunity cost, the global pandemic, macroeconomics and a perhaps unprecedented contractual and demographic cliff edge. Fellow forwards Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are the same age and also go out of contract in 2023.

He is integral to everything good about Liverpool and is without a doubt one of their most important players. Salah will be entering the final two years of his Anfield deal in the coming summer. But he is yet to follow the footsteps of several of his senior colleagues by extending his stay at the club.

However, as negotiations rumble on, there appears to finally be some light at the end of the tunnel. As reported by TeamTALK, Liverpool has come up with a clever solution to solve Salah’s contract situation. The publication claims that Liverpool has tabled an offer that boasts a lucrative signing-on fee that could prove to be the breakthrough we have all been waiting for.
