Liverpool fans to be delighted as key players return to training

Following a brief break, the Liverpool squad returned to the training ground. Uplifted by the attendance of three senior players who were absent during Saturday’s match.

Jurgen Klopp faced numerous absences due to illness, suspension, injury, and bereavement during the win over Burnley. Thus, depleting his senior player pool.

Alisson and Joe Gomez were in the sidelines due to illness. However, on Tuesday, they were present at the AXA Training Centre as the squad reconvened after a few days off following their 3-1 victory at Anfield.

Liverpool manager Klopp talks about Bradley and some other missing players

Klopp emphasized that Bradley faced no pressure to return to Liverpool within a specific timeframe. Thus, stating he could take “as long as he needs with his family.”

The youngster has returned to Liverpool and will participate in training with the rest of the present squad on Tuesday. Whether players like Trent Alexander-Arnold (knee), Ryan Gravenberch (groin), Mohamed Salah (hamstring), and Dominik Szoboszlai (hamstring) will also join remains uncertain.

Liverpool social media post featured Gravenberch. But his fitness for involvement remains uncertain after experiencing discomfort in his groin during training.

However, the appearance of Alisson, Gomez, and Bradley is a positive development. Since, Liverpool’s list of absences seemed to be increasing once more, despite initially easing. With four days until the Reds’ next match against Brentford, Klopp has ample time to prepare his team and possibly welcome back other players. Hope, they will not face any further issues later on.
