Liverpool benefits from transfer thanks to Manchester United!

About Football Express UK

Liverpool have profited out of transfer after fierce rival Manchester United sign Ajax ace Lisandro Martinez in the transfer window.

The Reds are on the verge of making a profit of £3.2 million for Ben Davies as he nears move to Rangers.

Unable to make a first-team appearance for the Reds, Davies decided an exit would suit well for all parties. Scottish giants Rangers were immediately interested to make a swoop for the 26-year-old after Calvin Bassey’s switch to Ajax.

Liverpool profit from move

With the defender poised to make a move to the Scottish club this summer, Liverpool are to receive good profit. Surprisingly, Manchester United are the ones the Reds will need to thank for their benefit from the transfer move.

United’s own deadlines over transfers set off a chain reaction that indirectly makes them pay the transfer fee for Davies. Manager Erik ten Hag signed Ajax’s Lisandro Martinez over the weekend forcing the Amsterdam-based club to turn to Rangers’ Calvin Bassey.

Rangers are set to receive club-record fee worth up to £22.9m for Bassey which in turn helped them in transfers. Moreover, the Scottish side further looked to invest the fee on Liverpool’s Davies in the transfer window this summer.

Moreover, the switch between the three clubs regarding the three players has helped all parties in the window. However, the Red Devils are the ones who indirectly funded the moves after the signing of Lisandro Martinez.

However, ten Hag is making vital moves in the transfer window which is helping the side attain a competitive level.
