Lewandowski to move either Barca or Liverpool as Bayern are struggling to keep him in Munich

Robert Lewandowski has reportedly been linked to a move from Bayern to Barcelona. The striker has contract with the Bavarians till summer 2023.

The Poland captain and a stalwart of modern football, Lewandowski signed for Bayern in 2014 from the then Jurgen Klopp’s Borussia Dortmund.

It was Jurgen Klopp under whom the younger Lewa was manifested and turned to be one of the greatest goal getter of european football. Now he is number one striker of Nagelsman’s Bayern Munich, miles ahead from world cup golden boot winner german striker Thomas Muller.

Thus Klopp knows his student very well . Now Liverpool coach , Klopp will be interested in this move, there is no need of rocket science to understand the scenario. Hence reportedly Liverpool are also interested in swaping the deal.

But somehow Lewandowski has agreed to move to Barcelona, amidst the interests from the top European clubs, it is Barcelona who have found their way to this potential transfer .

Meanwhile last year Messi got the Ballon d’OR , and Lewandowski got the Fifa men’s best footballer award.

He is turning 34 this August but he is likely to continue his career for many more years. Without any doubt he is a consistent performer and a typical box striker. At this time he is the top goal scorer among the all top 5 leagues in Europe.

This is what he said recently, “At my age, some footballers are already thinking about how they will end their careers. But I think that I can take further steps and still improve. I love football and want to be able to play as long as possible and at the highest level. The big challenge for all professional footballers remains to cope with the intensity on a mental and physical level.”
