Kylian Mbappe denies reports of having power to sell players at PSG

About Football Express UK

PSG star Kylian Mbappe has denied any report claiming that he has any power over the transfers and that he would like to see up to 14 players depart the club.

The French star recently signed a new mega long-term contract with PSG. Mbappe chose to stay at PSG rather than join his much-anticipated destination Real Madrid. Real Madrid looked clear favorites to land Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer in the summer. But the forward took his time and decided to reject the Spanish giants.

The French forward’s new deal did not only include a financial package like never seen before. But it also allegedly gave Mbappe the power to have about the incomings and outgoings of the club. While also a say in the manager and background staff and even the sporting director.

Reports last week suggested that the French forward had drawn a 14-player and staff blacklist that he wanted out of the club. The list included the likes of Brazilian star Neymar, while manager Mauricio Pochettino’s name was also on the list.

“Fake: Kylian Mbappe on the blacklist reports

Kylian Mbappe has been under massive criticism by Real Madrid fans and football fans for chasing money over his dream club. While La Liga have also launched a complaint to UEFA regarding the French Star’s new contract. But Roma legend Francesco Totti has defended the forward for staying true to his club and birthplace.

Kylian Mbappe on the other hand has denied any such report regarding his new contact by calling the reports “Fake”. Brazilian star Neymar Jr has confirmed his intentions to stay at the club beyond the summer. Neymar’s contract at PSG runs until the end of 2025.

While Argentina manager Mauricio Pochettino still has one year remaining on his current contract with PSG. Reports last year running until today suggested that the manager was very close to being sacked by the club. But PSG have stuck with the manager still now and have shown no intention to sack the former Tottenham Hotspurs manager.

It still remains to be seen whether both Neymar and Pochettino will continue at the club beyond the summer. But Kylian Mbappe has certainly confirmed that he will have no say in any such decision.
