Kaoru Mitoma might join Manchester United as a winger under consideration

Erik ten Hag

According to The Sun, Manchester United sent scouts to observe Kaoru Mitoma in action. This was for the Red Devils’ opponents in the FA Cup semifinal.

This season, Mitoma has nine goals and three assists for Brighton.

Mitoma was acquired by Brighton from the Japanese team Kawasaki Frontale for for £2.7 million.

Kaoru Mitoma, a Japanese international, has been one of Brighton’s left wing’s standout performers this season.

He is the kind of winger with tremendous intensity that boss Erik ten Hag will like. However, he is not the only player from Brighton who would be of interest.

Two players from Brighton’s star factory, Evan Ferguson and Moises Caicedo, will fetch millions more. That too on the market than they were originally purchased for.

Kaoru Mitoma and his exceptional skills!!

Mitoma’s efficiency in the final third matches his pace and dribbling skills. Last month, he scored the game-winning goal against Liverpool.

Arsenal is one of Kaoru Mitoma fans, according to a report by Fabrizio Romano from last month. He estimated worth roughly £35 million.

Manchester United will face Mitoma’s Brighton twice: once in the FA Cup semifinal at Wembley and once in a May away Premier League match.

It’s probable that United will try to entice Kaoru Mitoma by loaning out either Facundo Pellistri or Anthony Elanga, or possibly selling the latter player permanently in return for Mitoma.
