According to reports, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is ready to join any fellow Premier League side if he fails to extend his contract with the reds. Mohamed Salah’s current contact runs only until the end of next term.
The red’s contract extension offer to Mohamed Salah has been on the table for a while. But the two parties are still yet to agree on terms as Salah is looking for a financially better offer from the club. But the star forward’s future is still very much up in the air.
On the pitch, Mohamed Salah once again pushed his side to the limits. Talking his side just to the possibility of a quadruple. However, he does end the season with just the FA Cup and EFL Cup to show for it. The Egyptian king made a total of 51 appearances across all competitions this term. Talking about his contract situation before the Champions League final against Real Madrid, Mohamed Salah said:
“I don’t want to be selfish at all, I even said that two months ago. It’s about the team now. It’s a big, important week for us and I’m just focused on the team and I want to win the Champions League again and see Hendo with the trophy in his hands again, then hopefully he can give it to me after.
“I’m just focused on the team I don’t want to talk about the contract now because we have a long time, but I’m staying next season for sure. I’m staying next season so let’s see after that.”
Mohamed Salah is set to join Sadio Mane in Liverpool exit?
While Mohamed Salah has shown no desire to leave the club next summer. But his star wing compatriot Sadio Mane has made his intentions clear of leaving the club in the summer. Sadio Mane is looking for a new challenge in the summer. German giants Bayern Munich have shown the most interest in the forward ahead of the summer window.
Mohamed Salah could be joining Mane very soon in an exit from Anfield. Manchester City, Chelsea, and Manchester United are the only sides in the Premier League to financially attract Salah to their club. While Newcastle United after the takeover would like to be in that conversation. But the club are in no way well placed to land a star as big as Mohamed Salah.
