Insight into Tottenham Hotspur’s ‘Brutal’ training session

Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur have begun their pre-season training sessions ahead of their first fixture in South Korea.

The Spurs gaffer, Conte is all set to manage his first full-fledged season with the North London outfit. Tottenham will play Team K League on their first outing in the pre-season match before taking on Spanish club Sevilla.

The club trained at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in their session before the matches. It was reported that Antonio Conte is leaving no stones unturned and is pushing the players to perform with intensity.

Tottenham players ‘collapsed’ in the training

According to Tottenham Hotspur correspondent, Alasdair Gold explained the training sessions held under Conte in South Korea terming it ‘brutal’.

He said-

“When Son went down, the whole crowd went silent. Kane went over and helped him back up before he rejoined the next run to cheers.

Now Kane, Son, Tanganga, Bissouma have all dropped out of the last set of runs. Troy Parrott probably the fittest and was leading the final run.”

Moreover, he also took to Twitter to further explain the gravitas of the Tottenham training sessions. He tweeted-

“Brutal training sessions under Conte. The players are being put through repeated full pitch runs after two hours of training.

Players dropping out, feeling the heat and pace, before rejoining the group. Kane and Son among those feeling the pace, collapsing and then rejoining.”

Surely, the Tottenham gaffer wants his side to compete for titles and is pushing them in the right direction. Richarlison, Fraser Forster, and Yves Bissouma, the new signings made by the club, took part in the sessions as well.

Playing Champions League football in the coming season will require high intensity and Conte is living up to it. Tottenham fans would be excited to see holds for the club ahead of the new season.
