Manchester United are one step away from signing Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro as all the parties agree on the move to Old Trafford.
The Red Devils accelerated on the pursuit of Casemiro in the transfer window as the player is set to join the club. United have agreed to pay a fee of €70m that includes add-ons to land the player at Old Trafford.
The 30-year-old will now don the United outfit this season after spending over seven years with the Los Blancos. The Champions League winners agreed to sell the player after the latest bid placed by United in the transfer window.
Casemiro will join Manchester United
United have secured the services of Real Madrid ace Casemiro in the summer transfer window for the new season. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano took to Twitter to confirm the move to the Theatre of Dreams.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti also confirmed the exit of the midfielder this summer. He said-
“I talked to him this morning. He wants to try a new challenge, a new opportunity.
I and the club understand it.
“With what he’s done at this club and the person he is, we have to respect it. There are talks right now, nothing is official, but he wants to leave.
“We wish him all the best in his next challenge.”
Moreover, the Mancunian side have lost two out of their two matches and are now set to clash with Liverpool.
The fans will hope that the new signings will help the club and want their fate to turn for good. However, United are still yet to win a match and await a real test against Jurgen Klopp’s men this weekend.
