Tottenham Hotspur ace Harry Kane has made an interesting comment on the toughest defenders he has faced during his professional career.
The England captain considered two defenders in particular to be the toughest defenders he has faced who were also ‘very smart’. Kane has played against some of the finest players in the world taking on perhaps the world’s best defenders.
Kane picked a former Chelsea legend as one of the toughest defenders he ever faced in his career with Tottenham. The English skipper also named an Italian international legend who currently plays in Major League Soccer.

Harry Kane is one of the best forwards in the world at the moment who has made life difficult for the defender. The Tottenham forward took to Instagram to share the toughest defenders he has ever played against in his professional career.
He said-
‘I think early on in my career facing John Terry,’
‘Just a really smart defender, knew where to put his body, knew how to stop my runs. So that was a great learning curve.
‘Then Chiellini, obviously played against him against Italy and Juventus. Same thing, really smart, strong, physical.
So, the two stand out.’
One of the fans also asked Kane the best player he has played with during his playing career. He went on to tag Wayne Rooney suggesting that the former Manchester United legend was his favourite.
However, Rooney and Kane did not play together for a long time with the national team as the latter retired. Moreover, he has taken up the role of the leader and has proven to be one of the finest players in recent times.
Tottenham Hotspur are currently playing some sensational football with Kane being their main man in the front line.
