GW4 has ended and we will be taking a look at the performances which changed up most of the FPL and predict the outcome of the GW5.
The return of Cristiano to Manchester United was a memorable one with him scoring 2 goals and providing 13 points. CR7 backed the fpl managers who got him on his return. Chelsea’s Lukaku also scored 2 goals against Villa also giving 13 points.
Very few of the FPL managers had both Lukaku and Ronaldo which proved to be a great move. If you don’t have either one of them it’s a must to have one of them as both of them are getting frequently on goals and are the central focus of the team.
GW4 was a week in which most of the high-scoring players were below the range of 7.0 million. Players like Kovacic, Doucoure, Zaha, Gallaher, and many others
Going for these players will help to accommodate more premium options into our teams.
The Football Express team managed to get 75 points in GW4. The only disappointment for this team was Antonio getting a red card as he misses the next game for West Ham against Manchester United.
Keeping letting Antonio go for one week doesn’t look too good as he is in an amazing run of form. However, in case you want to have someone else for a change in the long run you can go for Jimenez or Bamford as they are in the same price range and would be an instant replacement for him.
Moreover, between GW4 and GW5 there was European Football for some teams so there could be rotation seen for the upcoming game week in Premier League for many teams.
GW5 Analysis
The GW5 looks like a good time to use a wildcard to either accommodate one of Ronaldo or Lukaku. However, getting all the top 3 premium options for GW5 both Salah, Ronaldo and Lukaku will be even better.
This is one of the few ways how you can include all the top 3 premium options in FPL if you are on wild card you will have a balanced squad with decent substitutes who can come off the bench to get you some points.
The GW5 captaincy option looks most likely to go to Salah but Lukaku also looks a pretty good option. Most of the Spurs first-team defenders are out for the upcoming game week so Lukaku might fancy his chance and could be more rewarding as a captain against Spurs.
