ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE

FPL GW1 Aftermath (How our teams fared in GW1 ?)

About Football Express UK

The opening week (GW1) of the Premier League started with a bang, Moreover, it was a goal-fest for the football fans and FPL (Fantasy Premier League) fans. The best of this Game-week was between Newcastle and West Ham in which the hammers scored four past Newcastle, While the magpies managed two goals.

Both the top captaincy choices provided returns of FPL managers. Salah maintained his opening fixture record, while Bruno alongside Pogba destroyed Leeds United.

Football Express (Football Express official team) in GW 1

The Football Express team managed to get 96 points in the opening game week. Captaining the Egyptian King which was the most favourable choice against Norwich. Also, Salah maintained his opening game-week record which was remarkable.

Ivan Toney was unlucky to get an attacking return against Arsenal though played a beautiful pass to Bryan Mbeumo who failed to score.

It was a decent week over all for the Football Express Team managing to get return un almost every area except from the Goal Keeper.

GoHard or GoFurtard (Alaistar’s Team) in GW 1

Football Express FPL Expert Alaistar’s team managed to score 97 points. This team also had a very good game-week the only dissapointment in this team would be Luke Shaw.

Luke Shaw the most selected player in FPL, Selected by 55.4% of the fpl managers. However, didn’t manage to provide any attacking return even after a statement win over Bielsa’s Leeds United.

FPL Black Dragons XI (Azami’s Team) in GW 1

My team managed to get 97 points which is pretty good. The team could have potentially crossed the 100 points mark but dissapointments from the both the forwards Toney and Bamford.

Both the strikers failed to provide any attacking returns. Toney had a chance to grab potentially an assist but Bryan Mbuemo failed to utilise the opportunity.

Bamford on the other hand was didn’t get any proper chance to put his trademark on the game.

The overall disappointment for all the teams in common will be of Lucas Digne. The Toffees full-back though played very well was unable to grab an assist though attempting 9 crosses and unable to find Calvert Lewin. Digne was also denied the opportunity of clean sheet from a wonderful strike from Adam Armstrong.

Although everyone on the 90+ points tally would have loved 100+ points tally on the GW 1 but still 90+ is not bad considering average was only 69 points.
