Leeds United are growing impatient with FC Barcelona over Raphinha’s transfer and have issued an ultimatum regarding the move.
Ever since Raphinha has been put on the market, it has sparked numerous rumours between clubs. The long transfer saga is finally coming to an end as Chelsea could no longer be in the race to sign the winger.
The offer from the Blues was the best amongst the ones in the mix to sign the winger. However, Raphinha is determined to join Catalan giants FC Barcelona this summer in the transfer window.
With that said, Barcelona have not really sealed the deal yet for the winger, frustrating the Elland Road club.
Leeds issues Ultimatum to Barcelona
Inflicting frustration on the Yorkshire side, Leeds have issued an ultimatum to the La Liga side, claimed by reports from Sport.
However, the details are not known what the ultimatum is about but the club wants the deal to complete soon. The deal could go through in the coming hours or a few days at the maximum and will be official.
Barcelona are all set to win the transfer battle to Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea for Raphinha this summer. Gerard Romero, who keeps track of the transfer movements regarding the Blaugrana club shared a major update on the player.
He said-
“Raphinha to Barcelona is just a matter of time. Everything is almost closed, pending last detail. He’s made a big effort to achieve his desire to play for Barça”
Moreover, reports from the Barcelona camp claim that the club is close to signing a forward from the Premier League. The continuous speculations regarding Raphinha to Barcelona could very well be true.
However, the official deets could be out any moment and no surprises if a move to the Spanish League happens.
