Everton ready up for Calvert Lewin’s interest from Premier League rivals

Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Everton are preparing for a bid to come in for Dominic Calvert Lewin. Newcastle are the club that are interested in him. They are preparing an offer for him. However, Calvert Lewin has spent most of the current season injured. Moreover, Everton manager Frank Lampard is sure that the 25-year-old striker will stay at the club. While Eddie Howe, manager of Newcastle, is sure that they will make the transfer happen. Newcastle is the richest club in the world and this might help them to secure the transfer of Calvert Lewin. It depends on how fearless Newcastle are in the transfer window.

Even though Calvert Lewin had an injury-ravaged season, he still came back on the final day to score and help keep Everton in the Premier League.

Everton might demand a high sum

Every club in the world knows that Newcastle have large sums of money to spend as they are the richest club in the world. This could be a disadvantage as Everton might ask for a large sum of money to make the transfer happen. Moreover, Calvert Lewin needs to pick up some form as he might be left out of the England team to play in the world cup.

The fee asked is 85 million pounds. However, there is great debate if he is worth so much money. If the fee can be reduced by a little bit then it is possible that the transfer might happen. But, talks are not an advanced stage, and Newcastle will play the wait-and-watch game for the next few weeks and will then look to move in for the striker. Also, Arsenal may be interested in the player too.

Moreover, Frank Lampard knows that Everton are not in the best financial position and the money received might be quite good. He knows he might need to lose a few players. Moreover, his best hope is that he recovers large amounts of money for the players he loses.

Calvert Lewin has fantastic abilities according to former Everton boss, Carlo Ancelotti. He is a good leader from the front. Moreover, he puts in a lot of hard work and gets the ball in the net. Lucky for the player, the tournament is in November so there is plenty of time for him to improve on his performance. He might push for a move to Newcastle if he is left out of the manager’s plans.

Newcastle needs a good window and signing Calvert Lewin will be an excellent start.
