Everton visited Newcastle United in the Premier League clash at St. James’ Park on Wednesday. The hosts managed to secure all three points. The Toffees did well to take the lead due to Jamaal Lascelles’ own goal.

However, Mason Holgate too found the back of his net before the half-time break to make a 1-1 scoreline.

Everton conceded again in the 56th minute when Ryan Fraser found the back of the net. Lampard’s men failed to come up with a response and conceded their third goal in the 80th minute when Kieran Trippier scored a brilliant free-kick. He did his fair share of contributions while going forward and defending in the flanks.

LW: Andros Townsend–6/10

Townsend had a decent game defensively. However, struggled to influence the game offensively.

CM: Allan–5/10

Allan had a below-average game overall. Meanwhile, he got stuck in with some solid tackles. Also lacked failed to breach the opponent through his passing.

CM: Andre Gomes–4/10

The Portuguese talent had a poor game in the first half. As a result, got replaced near the hour mark.

RAM: Anthony Gordon–6/10

He had a few bright moments in the game. However, didn’t do enough to score a goal.

LAM: Demarai Gray–6/10

Gray made a decent start to the game. However, had to be taken off in the 24th minute.

ST: Richarlison–7/10

The Brazilian striker had some good chances in the final third. However, failed to produce a goal.
